SHORT RUN

FTT supports our customer's short run production requirements in hopes of developing a relationship that grows as our customers business grows. FTT maintains a substantial toolroom environment to support prototyping, fixture build, and short run manufacture both for our customers and for our internal automation build requirements.

VOLUME MANUFACTURING (CNC)

FTT Manufacturing's core business is precision machining of components for its customers products. We partner with customers (to help them succeed at every level by providing the manufacturing resources and processes) to make their program goals attainable.

FTT has a solid record of service to customer companies. We typically provide turnkey support; from managing a customers material supplies, then manufacturing complete with heat-treat and plating, to assisting in managing our customer's inventory.

FTT works in all types of material but considers itself to have a specialty in the machining of castings and near net shop technologies. We develop creative reliable processes around our ability to produce accurate reliable fixturing.


COMPONENT MACHINING

FTT Manufacturing's core business is precision machining of components for it's customer's products. FTT solicits machining projects from prototypes to 50,000 piece quantities. We work in almost all materials and are experts in the machining of castings and near net shape technologies. Capable of working to tolerances of .0002", FTT strives to provide more value than any competitor.


CNC Milling and Machining

FTT has a solid record of service to customer companies. We regularly provide turnkey support; from assisting in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) decisions to managing a customer's foundry, to providing post-machining operations.

FTT works constantly to improve its facilities, capabilities, processes and means of communication.

Collaberative Processes

FTT is committed to its customers through the close attention it pays to communication. Our engineering staff will work closely with your design team to make components that meet all expectations. Suggestions for improved manufacturability are freely offered to assist the customer and guarantee satisfaction. FTT is always open to suggestions from its customers on new ways of doing business.

Quality Assurance

Our quality department maintains a full rang of gauging, pins, and utilizes CMM's from Starrite and Brown and Sharp. We operate under ISO 13485 and are FDA registered.

PRECISION TURNING

FTT Manufacturing's lathe department has developed a broad line of capabilities to handle a diverse range of customer's products. From Chucking lathes, to precision Swiss Machining, we have the knowledge and capability to manufacture complex details in a precise but economical fashion. We routinely work with a diverse mix of materials in both bar stock and castings. Our lathes are equipped with bar feeders for higher volume production as well as we utilize a broad mix of chucking jaws to hold individual pieces on lower volume runs.

Multi-Axis Swiss Machining

Our CNC Swiss machines allow us to mill diameters as small as .125. Live milling heads and dual spindles allow for completion of a part in one holding with no second operation. By not processing the part across several machines, we are able to maintain a higher level of precision and remove additional machine set ups to keep costs down. Live bar feeders allow for continuous operation in higher volume production runs.
